Callie got her first look inside of a temple. Last Thursday we went to the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple in South Jordan. It was interesting to see one of the mini temples because everything is on a smaller scale. Callie was actually pretty quiet through most of it which was surprising. She saved all of her yelling for the restaurant where we went to dinner afterwards. (It was difficult to get a good picture because the sun was right behind the temple)
The Angel Moroni on top of the temple was struck by lightning the week before we went and it still was not fixed. It was interesting seeing the Angel all charred on one side.
