March 2014

In March Jace did another Itty Bitty class.  This one was All-Sports.  Each days they focused on a different sport (Football, Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Volleyball).  He was okay going to this one as long as I followed him from station to station.

Jace practicing his punting skills.  Football was his least favorite sport.  He did not like the station where they wore the flags and tried to run past everyone with the football.  He refused to participate in that one.  I really don't blame him.  The kids just charged and some would often get hurt from getting tripped or run in to.

He loved the day they focused on basketball since he was already a pro at that.

The week I taught Jace's pre-school class I focused on the letter "L" and did lucky leprechaun since it was right before St. Patrick's Day.  The kids created this fun rainbow craft and we put gold chocolate coins in their "pots of gold."

Callie finished up her basketball season and told us she refuses to play again next year.  She didn't enjoy being the only girl on the team with a bunch of rowdy little boys and some were not very nice.

Since Callie rarely got the ball during the game she became the designated person to pass the ball in.

She did like to be the one who provided treats for the last game.  Callie and Jace loved passing out donuts to the team.

On St. Patrick's Day we has a Leprechaun visit our house who cause a little bit of mischief.  The kids loved running around the house finding all the evidence of the leprechaun visit.

We did a pajama party for the kids and their friend's the day the movie Frozen came out on DVD.  The kids love having friends over to watch movies.
